Refund Policy

The short version
14 days, no questions asked, on most products. Email [email protected] with your Payhip receipt and it's done. Two small exceptions for courses and pre-orders, detailed below.
Products with standard 14-day refund
- Tier 1 — AI Underwriting Prompt Starter ($9)
- Tier 2 — AI Lending Prompt Library ($29)
- Tier 3 — AI Credit Scorecard Template ($49)
- Tier 4 — Fraud Detection Playbook ($79)
- Tier 5 — AI Lending Starter Kit Bundle ($149)
Refunds are honoured for 14 days from the date of purchase, no questions. Keep the file if you want; I still refund.
Tier 6 — 7-Day AI Underwriting Workflow ($299) — course-specific policy
The course drip-releases content over 28 days. Refund policy reflects the delivered content:
- Within 7 days of purchase: 14-day no-questions refund applies as normal. Lessons 1–3 have been unlocked; the remaining four have not.
- Between 7 and 14 days: refund requests are honoured but reduced to 75% since Lesson 4 has unlocked.
- After day 14: no refund, because the contract at purchase was a 14-day window and you've received substantial course content.
Tier 7 — AI Lending Business OS ($399 pre-order / $499 list) — pre-order specifics
The Business OS is currently a pre-order. Refund terms:
- Before launch: full refund on request at any time before the workspace ships to you.
- Within 14 days of launch-date delivery: full 14-day no-questions refund from the delivery date (not the pre-order date).
- After the Notion workspace duplication access has been granted: refund is not possible — the workspace cannot be un-copied from your Notion. This is standard for Notion-delivered products and is called out upfront.
- Bonus 1:1 call: if refund is processed after the 1:1 walkthrough call has taken place, the call time is deducted pro-rated at a reasonable hourly equivalent.
Newsletter (Builder's Brief) — subscription refunds
The free tier has no charge and therefore no refund. For the paid tier ($12/month or $99/year):
- Monthly: cancel anytime. No pro-rated refund — the current billing month stays live until it ends.
- Annual: pro-rated refund within the first 30 days; no refund after 30 days. Cancel anytime regardless.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with:
- Subject line: "Refund — [product name]"
- Your Payhip receipt number (included in your original purchase email)
- Optionally, a line on why — it's not required, but helps me improve the product. You can write "no reason" and I still refund.
Refunds are initiated within 48 hours of receiving your request and typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Why 14 days, not 30 or 60?
14 days is the sweet spot between giving you enough time to actually try the product and keeping the refund window tight enough to avoid abuse. Industry data on digital products shows the vast majority of refund decisions are made in the first week; the 14th day is a courtesy for people with busy weeks.
Good faith
These refund terms are offered in good faith. Abuse of the refund policy — e.g., repeated purchases and refunds of the same product across multiple accounts, or refund requests after demonstrable use of derived content in a competing product — may result in refusal and restriction from future purchases.
