Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 24, 2026
Review note. This Privacy Policy has been drafted as a reasonable baseline for a creator-led digital-goods site using Payhip and MailerLite. Please have a qualified privacy lawyer in your jurisdiction review before publishing, particularly if your user base skews heavily toward specific regulated jurisdictions.
1. Who we are
LendWithAI is operated by the LendWithAI team ("we", "us"). For privacy questions, reach us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
We collect personal data in a few ways:
- When you buy a Product: name, email, billing address (required for tax compliance in some regions), and payment method — collected by Payhip, our Merchant of Record. We receive summary purchase records.
- When you subscribe to the newsletter: email address — and, if you opt to paid tier, billing details (handled by MailerLite's payment processor).
- When you use the Site: non-identifying analytics — pages visited, rough geographic region, referrer. We use privacy-friendly analytics (e.g., Plausible or GA4 with IP anonymisation) and do not use cookies for advertising tracking.
- When you email us: the contents of your email and any information you choose to include.
3. How we use it
We use your personal data to:
- Deliver the Products you purchase, including via our third-party processors.
- Send the newsletter (free and paid tiers) you've subscribed to.
- Respond to your emails.
- Understand how the Site is used, in aggregate, to improve it.
- Comply with our legal obligations (tax, accounting, consumer protection).
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Who we share it with
The third parties we rely on to run the business:
- Payhip — payments, digital delivery, Merchant of Record for EU/UK VAT.
- MailerLite — newsletter delivery, subscriber management, and Payhip customer-list integration.
- Hostinger — website hosting.
- Analytics provider (Plausible or equivalent) — privacy-friendly site analytics.
Each of these operates under its own privacy policy; links are available on request.
5. Where your data is stored
Data may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your own, primarily the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and India. Where this transfer involves personal data of EU or UK residents, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms where required by our third-party processors.
6. How long we keep it
Purchase records are retained for as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years in India). Newsletter subscribers' data is retained until you unsubscribe; unsubscribed records are retained only in suppression lists to honour your unsubscribe choice.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
8. Children
The Services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, email us and we'll delete it.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies (or similar technologies) only where necessary for the Site to function (e.g., session cookies on the checkout flow handled by Payhip). Our analytics provider is configured to avoid setting tracking cookies. Third parties we rely on may set their own cookies; their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee the security of data you transmit to us. In the event of a data breach affecting you, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via the newsletter or email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
12. Region-specific notes
EU / UK (GDPR): Our lawful bases for processing are contract (fulfilling a purchase or newsletter subscription), consent (analytics and non-essential uses), and legitimate interest (improving the Site). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
India (DPDP Act, 2023): We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. You have the rights described in Section 7 above, plus the right to nominate a successor. For grievances, contact the email above; we will respond within the timelines set by the Act.
US residents (CCPA/CPRA where applicable): We do not sell personal information. You can request access, deletion, or correction by emailing the address above.
